Almond tea leaves are sweets of Etna origin, now widespread throughout Eastern Sicily. The main ingredient is almond leaves. As soon as they are baked they are given the particular horseshoe shape which makes them unmistakable. Crunchy and crumbly dessert with multiple aromatic notes. It goes perfectly with the afternoon tea break, but even better if combined with the excellent Sicilian fortified wines.

Egg white, sugar, butter, flour, almond leaves, lemon zest, orange zest, vanilla.
